Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Logan, Utah, seeks a Patient Service Representative at the Logan Clinic Family Medicine location. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule visits, and register patients for procedures or referrals.

In this role, you’ll collect payments, assist with forms, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while maintaining privacy and delivering excellent customer service across in-person and phone interactions.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.
• Multilingual (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in/out, including demographic verification.
• Process registrations and update required information in the registration system.
• Schedule appointments, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Obtain insurance cards, IDs, and signatures; confirm benefits as needed.
• Educate patients on financial aspects and assist with forms.
• Scan documents and ensure accurate EMR entries.
• Accept and process patient payments following proper procedures.
