Intermountain Health in South Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our healthcare team. The role supports patient intake, scheduling, and high-quality service, with a focus on accurate EMR documentation and patient interactions.

The position offers full-time hours (36 per week), Monday through Friday clinic hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) with no weekends or holidays. Entry rate ranges from $18.31 to $23.80 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect PHI and patient privacy.
• Willingness to work with patients and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Resolve patient needs to ensure a superior customer experience through intake and care.
• Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtain insurance cards, IDs, and signatures on forms.
