Intermountain Health in Logan, Utah, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first connection with patients. The PSR greets and checks in/out patients, verifies information, and supports billing and insurance processes.

The role requires handling registrations, scheduling, and patient communications while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards within a clinic setting.

Formación

• Six months of customer service experience with customers.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsabilidades

• Provides courteous, professional connections with patients by phone, in person, or via secure messaging.
• Documents all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients, updates demographic data, and verifies information.
• Obtains insurance cards/IDs and handles forms and benefits coordination.
• Assists patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs and educates on financial assistance.
• Maintains awareness of role responsibilities and participates in team meetings to ensure high performance.
