Job summary

Hanger, Inc. seeks a capable front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at our O&P clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care plans.

Ideal candidates have a background in medical front office or receptionist roles, with strong communication and computer skills. A valid driver's license is required; join a growing team dedicated to superior patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide wait time info and answer inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays and co-insurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments including casts, measurements, delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
