Job summary

Hanger Inc. is seeking a front desk receptionist to deliver a seamless patient experience in our O&P clinic network. You will greet patients, verify demographics, process payments, and assist with scheduling and referrals.

Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate has front office experience in a medical setting, a high school diploma, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license and driving record as per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide wait time information and answer inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care planning.
