Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at our O&P clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect payments, and coordinate appointments with care teams.

Ideal candidates have front office or medical reception experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows-based software. This role is on-site and includes benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service, administrative or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist position or medical front office procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, provide wait-time information and answer inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details at check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast/measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
