Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a part-time patient access associate to greet patients, register them, collect co-pays, and ensure smooth check-in within HIPAA guidelines. You will coordinate with radiology staff, route patient information, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Requires High School Diploma, 1+ year customer service and radiology office experience; BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak conversational English with clear communication.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• 1+ year in medical office and radiology environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notifies departments or persons of patient progress.
• Deescalates patient conflicts following policies and mission.
• Reviews and releases imaging records in compliance with HIPAA and laws.
• Uses scheduling software to manage exams and changes.
• Operates office equipment and maintains accurate records.
• Registers patients, collects co-pays, and scans paperwork.
