The role requires collecting demographic and financial data, validating insurance information, scheduling appointments, and processing referrals and authorizations for procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of customer service experience and healthcare-related exposure, with two years preferred.

Formación

• One year of customer service work experience required.
• Healthcare-related experience required.
• Two years of customer service work experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check-in/out patients at the front desk and/or over the phone.
• Collect and enter demographic and financial data in the patient record.
• Gather/validate insurance information, schedule appointments, collect co-pays and balances.
• Obtain and process referrals, authorizations and pre-certifications for procedures.
• Determine insurance coverage for hardware items by liaising with carriers.
