Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to manage the patient intake process in our clinic. You will interact with patients in-person and by phone, handling check-in/out, data collection, payments, insurance verification, scheduling, and referrals.

You will apply critical thinking and strong customer service to ensure a seamless intake experience, using knowledge of insurance, billing, and medical terminology to support high-quality care.

Competenze

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of customer service experience.
• Healthcare or Call Center experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Registers and/or checks patients in/out.
• Performs patient check-in at the time of visit; records and verifies demographic, insurance and other information; ensures registration guidelines are satisfied; notifies guardians for minors; identifies deficiencies and escalates as needed.
• Conducts routine insurance eligibility verifications.
• Copies/scans patient access related materials into the electronic medical record.
• Records non-clinical charges from various sources and handles payments.
