Job summary

Qualifications

• Required - High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred - Associate's degree
• Required - Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospital/clinic/customer service environment
• Preferred - Certification in CHAM/CHAA or Medical Assistant (or related)

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and guests
• Create and complete patient scheduling, clinic registration, or hospital admission
• Collect and input demographic and financial information, explain insurance benefits and co-pays
• Explain financial responsibility and assist with payment collection
• Balance cash drawer and daily deposits
• Collaborate with departments while respecting patient privacy
• Adapt interactions to diverse patient populations
• Other related duties as required
