Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Patient Access Representative I in Chardon to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule visits. You will support providers and care teams, help patients use MyChart, and ensure accurate registration across EPIC systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check patients in/out for visits.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and use.
• Enter/update patient demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Communicate information to care team and scheduling staff.
• Contact insurers regarding coverage, preapprovals, billing.
• Collect copays and past balances.
• Assist with paperwork and EPIC work queues.
