Qualifications

• Education: High school degree or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience and proficiency with common computer software.
• Experience with registration, scheduling, or patient access is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes co-payments and balances; safeguards cash and reconciles cash drawer.
• Schedules, reschedules, and verifies patient appointments using multiple sources.
• Pre-registers by verifying insurance and guarantor information and real-time eligibility.
