Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) seeks a Patient Access Representative to support the registration, scheduling, and pre-registration processes across our system. The role emphasizes a welcoming patient experience, accurate data capture, and strict confidentiality.

You will handle co-payments and insurance verification, assist with Kiosk check-in, and collaborate with clinical departments. Training on the EHR system is provided in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience; computer systems experience including web-based applications and MS Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Register patients for visits and explain the process.
• Process co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances; reconcile cash.
• Complete Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjust coverage.
• Obtain signatures on forms; scan and file documents.
• Counsel patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
