Responsibilities

• Registers patients and explains the registration process; responds to questions.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards cash.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage as needed.
• Gathers signatures on forms; scans and records documents collected during registration.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs; ensures patient confidentiality.
• Schedules and reschedules patient appointments using multiple sources.
