Responsibilities

• Processes patient payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards cash and reconciles drawer.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and adjusts coverage.
• Obtains signatures on financial and consent forms and scans documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs.
