Qualifications

• 21+ years old at time of employment
• Degree in culinary arts preferred; extensive culinary experience may substitute
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience
• Valid Food Manager Certification
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences in pastry classes
• Deliver pastry-focused classes with clear, approachable instruction
• Drive class revenue and customer engagement through high enrollment and positive reviews
• Assist with class setup, mise en place, and maintaining clean workstations
