Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A degree in culinary arts is preferred; however, extensive culinary experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by delivering pastry and baking classes and creating memorable educational experiences.
• Drive class enrollment and sales by delivering high-quality instructional experiences with a focus on pastry.
• Assist with class setup, mise en place, and breakdown, ensuring clean and safe kitchen operations.
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards, health codes, and store policies; manage inventory and expenses related to classes.
