Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Chef Instructor, Pastry to be the in-store expert for baking, pastry arts, and hands-on classes. You will teach techniques, follow approved recipes, and inspire customers while driving sales of bakeware and decorating tools.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years kitchen ops experience, a culinary degree preferred (or equivalent) and a Food Manager Certification. Available 12–16 hours weekly with flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A degree in culinary arts is preferred; however, candidates with extensive culinary experience and demonstrated technical proficiency will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
