Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to provide an exceptional customer experience by managing the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify accuracy and quality of parts, align with production schedules, and ensure timely support for shop operations.

The role requires 1–3+ years automotive parts experience, strong communication, and proficiency with parts software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus).
• Customer service orientation with strong organizational ability under pressure.
• I-Car registration in progress toward Gold Class certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent WOW plan execution and customer experience.
• Communicate all customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts per repair orders, confirming quality, correctness and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop according to production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into the MIS.
• Label and track parts by RO number and communicate price changes to team members.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in the MIS and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Ensure invoices and credits are posted and filed promptly.
• Maintain proper profit margins by applying negotiated discounts.
