Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Parts Coordinator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by efficiently ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning parts for each repair order. You will verify parts accuracy and quality to align with production needs, ensuring on-time delivery to the shop.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with knowledge of MIS systems and common collision repair software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts bonus).
• Customer Service oriented with strong organizational ability under pressure.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Communicate customer requests to the team.
• Work with vendors to order and receive parts per repair orders and verify quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution per production schedule.
• Enter parts invoices into MIS.
• Label and track parts by RO number and communicate price changes to team.
• Order and receive supplemental parts in MIS and monitor vendor invoices.
• Post and file invoices and credits promptly.
• Ensure negotiated discounts are reflected to maintain margins.
