Job summary

Rivian in New Jersey is hiring a Parts Advisor to enhance the internal customer experience at service locations. You will work with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors, and local Management to support service needs.

The role requires strong communication, cross-team collaboration, and a customer-first mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement of service processes and operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Exhibits patience, empathy, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Great attitude with high energy, customer service oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical capacity for heavy lifting and long shifts as described.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and execute the shipping process and packaging for parts.
• Understand channel planning and how it works.
• Execute indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Understand KPI’s and metrics and their significance.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in parts procurement and collaborate to improve processes.
• Communicate with technicians and leads to promote clear communication.
• Identify and order the correct parts for repairs.
• Source or lookup parts assemblies/subassemblies.
• Receive and allocate back orders; bin parts.
• Explain Rivian BIN scheme.
• Identify damages, shortages, overages, incorrect parts, and no stock.
• Use SharePoint, Warranty Manual, and Rivian systems.
