Job summary

Rivian is hiring a Parts Advisor to enhance the internal customer experience at service locations. You will coordinate with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors, and local management to support service needs.

The role requires strong organization, initiative, and process improvement mindset, with a customer-first approach in dynamic environments. Prior parts management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Patience, empathy, attention to detail, and problem-solving orientation.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.
• Basic math to prepare estimates and payments.
• Physical ability to perform tasks (lifting up to 85 lbs).
• 18+ years of age and 40-hour weekly schedule including varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technicians and leads to promote clear communication; participate in huddles.
• Identify and order correct parts for repairs.
• Understand parts assemblies and subassemblies.
• Receive, allocate back orders, and BIN parts.
• Explain Rivian BIN scheme and parts shipping processes.
• Identify damages, shortages, or no stock; fulfill and ship orders.
• Explain purchasing needs and warranty return processes.
• Use SharePoint, Warranty Manual, and Rivian systems; navigate shipping and 5S methodology.
• Provide exceptional customer experience and learn Rivian maintenance scheduling.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential
