Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Parts Advisor in New Jersey to enhance internal customer experience at service locations. You will manage warranty returns, shipping, and parts procurement while coordinating with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors, and local management.

The role demands strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with a customer-first mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguous environments. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 85 lbs and stand/walk as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and execute shipping and packaging of parts.
• Understand channel planning and indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Explain KPIs and metrics and their significance.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in parts procurement.
• Communicate with technicians and participate in huddles.
• Identify and order the correct part needed for any repair.
• Source or look up and understand parts assemblies / subassemblies.
• Receive parts and allocate back orders.
