Job summary

Rivian Automotive in the United States seeks a Parts Advisor to deliver exceptional internal customer service at service locations. The role requires strong organization, proactive problem solving and cross-team collaboration to support service teams and customers.

You will partner daily with Regional Parts Specialists, Technicians, Advisors, and local Management. You will champion continuous improvement, maintain a customer-first mindset, and adapt to ambiguous environments while managing parts

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service.
• Demonstrates problem solving, attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and using internal systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and execute the warranty return process.
• Explain and execute the shipping process and proper packaging of parts.
• Understand channel planning and how it works.
• Understand, explain, and execute indirect purchasing through Coupa.
• Explain KPIs and metrics and their significance.
• Collaborate with technicians and leads to improve processes and customer care.
• Identify and order the correct parts for repairs.
• Navigate parts assemblies and subassemblies.
• Receive parts and allocate back orders.
• Understand Rivian BIN scheme and apply it effectively.
• Identify damages, shortages, and stock issues.
• Utilize Rivian documentation and systems in daily work.
• Perform daily counts and understand the use of tools.
• Explain pre-pulling parts for upcoming appointments.
• Understand pay types and use cases.
• Learn Rivian's maintenance scheduling and safety requirements.
• Provide exceptional service following Rivian Guiding Principles.
