Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a parts counter associate to assist customers, identify needs, and drive sales at the parts desk.

You will process transactions, receive shipments, maintain inventory, and coordinate with the service team to order parts for repairs. A valid driver’s license and a High School diploma are required; weekend hours and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years commissioned sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the parts counter with a friendly demeanor.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable parts.
• Process parts transactions accurately using cash register and MTF.
• Answer inbound and outbound sales calls and follow up.
• Prepare sales paperwork and invoices.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts shipments and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with service department to order parts for service jobs.
• Assist in service scheduling and maintain the office appearance.
