Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World is seeking a sales-focused professional to support the dealership’s trailer and parts sales. You will assist customers, quote trailers, and process paperwork for invoicing while maintaining display areas and front-office organization.

The role involves outside sales calls, attending trade shows, and helping drive overall sales initiatives, with a schedule that includes Monday through Saturday and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Three (3) years of commissioned sales experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years commissioned sales experience preferred
• Able to work Monday – Saturday and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Answer sales calls
• Assist customers visiting the Dealership
• Quote trailers for customers
• Prepare sales paperwork and deliver to office administration daily for invoicing
• Coordinate and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard
• Coordinate and display the Parts Department
• Maintain the front office to project a friendly and professional appearance
• Handle cash transactions and report to administration per cash policies
• Mileage reimbursement for reliable transportation
• Plan and execute outside sales calls to develop wholesale business
• Attend trade shows and events to drive sales
• Assist in completing weekly inventory reports
• Maintain order files for trailer and parts sold
• Other duties as assigned

Summary

Assist in maintaining all aspects of the sales department of the Dealership including all parts and trailer sales.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Answer sales calls
• Assist customers visiting Dealership
• Quote trailers for customers
• Prepare sales paperwork and deliver to office administration daily for invoicing
• Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard
• Coordinate, organize and properly display Parts Department
• Assist in maintaining the general organization of the front office to create a friendly and professional appearance
• Proper handling of cash transactions and reporting to office administration and adhering to all policies and procedures referring to handling of cash and bank deposits.
• Position requires reliable transportation. Mileage is reimbursed at the company’s current rate.
• Plan and execute outside sales calls to develop wholesale business (Landscape, Construction, Rental Companies) with Store Manager direction, input, and approval
• Attend Trade Shows, Sale Barns, Co-ops, Veterinarians, Farm Expos, Tractor Pulls, etc. to help drive overall sales initiative of the Dealership
• Assist in completion of weekly inventory report
• Maintain accurate and up to date order file lists for all trailer and parts sold at Dealership
• Other duties as assigned
