Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer II to join our North America Presales team. You will evangelize cutting-edge products to partners and shape solutions within channel enablement and GTM motions.

You will build trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders, support channel sales to grow revenue, enable partners to resell Akamai's products, and tailor resources like sales plays and use cases to drive partner-led opportunities.

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS or related field.
Experience in customer facing technical channel sales or presales.
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL protocols.
Customer advocate with passion for delivering technical solutions.
Experience presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
Team player able to collaborate, prioritize and solve problems in a fast changing environment.

Responsibilities

Developing trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
Supporting the channel sales team to grow topline revenue through partners regionally and nationally.
Enabling focused partners to resell and service Akamai's strategic products.
Customizing resources such as sales plays, market intelligence and use cases to drive partner opportunities.
Representing partner needs with product, marketing, services and support to drive partner success.
