Job summary

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer II to join our North America Presales team. You will shape solutions for partners and support channel sales to grow revenue, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert in cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities include building partner relationships, enabling resellers, tailoring sales resources, and representing partner needs to product teams to drive success in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS or related field.
• Experience in customer facing technical channel sales or presales.
• Strong understanding of internet basics including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL.
• Customer advocate with ability to present technical topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
• Support channel sales to grow topline revenue nationally and regionally.
• Enable partners to resell and service Akamai's products.
• Customize resources to drive partner-sourced opportunities and differentiate Akamai.
• Represent partner needs with product, marketing, services and support teams.
