Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer II to support North America presales and partner channel engagement. You will build trusted relationships with partners and enable sales teams to expand revenue through channel partners nationwide and regionally.

You will tailor resources, present technical topics to diverse audiences, and advocate for customers while collaborating with product, marketing, and services teams to drive partner success.

Qualifications

5 years of relevant experience in presales or channel sales.
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS or related field.
Strong understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL).

Responsibilities

Developing trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical sales leaders
Supporting channel sales team to grow topline revenue through channel partners
Enabling partners to resell and service Akamai's strategic products
Customizing resources to drive partner sourced opportunities and position Akamai's market differentiations
Representing the needs of partners with product teams, marketing, services and support
