Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer II to strengthen relationships with channel partners and help drive revenue through the North America presales team.

You will be the technical adviser to partners, enabling them to position and sell Akamai’s strategic products while collaborating with channel sales to accelerate opportunities in a fast-changing landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in technical channel sales or presales.
• Strong understanding of the internet protocols and architectures.
• Ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted relationships with partners' sales and technical leaders.
• Support channel sales to grow topline revenue regionally and nationally.
• Enable partners to resell and service Akamai's products.
• Customize resources to drive partner-sourced opportunities and position Akamai's differentiations.
• Represent partner needs to product, marketing, services and support.
