PetVet Care Centers' American Pet Hospital in Modesto, CA is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join their team. This role supports hospital operations and patient care with friendly front-desk service.

You will coordinate appointments, answer client questions, and assist with basic pet care workflows in a multilingual, compassionate setting. The position offers Monday–Friday 12pm–6pm, benefits, and opportunities to grow within a national network of hospitals.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous veterinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, and schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners.
• Assists with medication pickups and inquiries about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assists with retail sales and maintains records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties.
