PetVet Care Centers’ Sun Valley Animal Center is seeking a Care Coordinator to support a high‑performing hospital with client‑focused service. You will handle front desk tasks, scheduling, and basic medical emergencies, contributing to excellent patient care and client experiences.

Qualified candidates bring 18+, HS diploma or GED, strong communication, multitasking and empathy, plus basic computer skills to learn our practice management software and billing processes.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Willingness to Train the Right Candidate.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage calls, schedule appointments in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, compassionate and empathetic approach with clients and pets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and in high‑stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, address concerns, schedule appointments.
• Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety.
• Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and services information.
• Input data in practice management software, including billing.
• Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, maintaining records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and end‑of‑day transactions.
