Job summary

The City of Winter Springs is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to greet visitors, handle phone and email inquiries, and manage utility accounts. This role emphasizes accuracy in data entry, payments processing, and responsive service in a municipal setting.

Work hours are 25–30 per week, Monday through Friday, with on-site duties in the Utilities or City Hall offices. The CSR will balance cash, scan payments, and support both customers and staff while upholding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of utility billing or customer service experience required.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in lobby and answer calls professionally.
• Accepts all forms for Utility Billing to maintain utility accounts.
• Process payments for City services including deposits, utilities, and programs.
• Balance drawer daily by handling credits, deposits and adjustments.
• Scan payments and files into LaserFiche; enter data into systems.
• Assist customers in person and by phone with inquiries.
