Job summary

City of Winter Springs (FL) invites applications for a part-time Customer Service Representative (CSR). The role involves face-to-face and written communication with customers, processing payments for city services, and maintaining utility accounts through data entry.

The CSR will greet guests in our lobby, accept all forms for the Utility Billing Department, scan payments and documents, and ensure accurate handling of cash, deposits, and adjustments.

Qualifications

• 3 years of utility billing or customer service experience.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in the lobby and handle calls professionally.
• Accept all forms and correspondence for Utility Billing to maintain utility accounts (new, changes, finals).
• Sort mail received and direct it to appropriate departments.
• Process payments for City services (deposits, utilities, recreational programs).
• Process move-ins and move-outs; verify delinquencies; review credits and consumption reports.
• Assist customers in person with questions and direct to appropriate department.
• Assist customers on the telephone and complete work orders for utilities and public works.
