Job summary

Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) seeks an Education Support Specialist – Test Proctor to support the college’s testing centers. This part-time, non-benefited role serves students in person at PVCC and community locations, with flexible hours up to 29 per week.

Responsibilities include administering a range of tests, handling confidential materials, scheduling and coordinating the Testing Center calendar, assisting with special accommodations, and providing excellent customer service to

Qualifications

Experience in customer-facing roles with a track record of resolving customer concerns effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to convey information clearly and professionally (verbal and written).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal errors.

Responsibilities

Administer a variety of tests, online and paper tests for PVCC and non-PVCC students, licensures, and certifications.
Send and receive confidential testing material to and from faculty at PVCC and other institutions.
Maintain integrity of testing information and handle day-to-day operations.
Observe students during testing via security cameras and computer monitoring program; troubleshoot as needed.
Assist students with special accommodations and technology and provide excellent customer service.
