Job summary

Victoria College is seeking a part-time Testing Proctor to assist with online testing, college placement testing, and high-stakes testing in a quiet, secure environment. The role requires some evenings and Saturdays on an on-call basis, and involves coordinating appointments and basic office tasks.

You will verify student IDs, support test security, and communicate with multiple college departments. Training for certifications will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have effective interpersonal, oral, and written skills.
• Must be able to work some Saturdays and evenings.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel is highly desirable.
• Willing to become certified for various high-stakes tests (training provided).
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Blackboard, Internet, and e-mail at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of online testing and college placement testing.
• Assist with high-stakes testing in a secure environment.
• Answer phones, file, schedule testing appointments, and perform general office duties.
• Verify student IDs and seat examinees appropriately.
• Maintain testing materials and forms; report security breaches to supervisor.
• Prepare for and complete required documentation and communications with college departments.
