Job summary

Sky Zone in Dayton, OH is seeking a Part-time Team Lead to rotate through Sales & Service, Parties & Events, and Food & Beverage/Facilities. You’ll act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when senior leaders are away and lead by example on the floor to ensure a smooth guest experience.

You must be 18+, with at least 2 years in operations or guest-facing roles and some supervisory experience. Availability evenings/weekends is required; POS and Office tool proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Background in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with technology, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite/Teams.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands-on, team-first mindset with readiness to jump in and lead by example.
• Ability to move through the park and lift 20 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when GM/OM are not present, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and team accountability.
• Provide proactive, on-the-floor leadership by coaching, supporting, and delegating to Team Members across all departments.
• Step into any operational area as needed to maintain guest experiences and flow.
• Deliver timely communication of guest issues, operational challenges, or safety concerns to the Management Team.
• Drive membership and program sales by engaging guests and promoting park offerings.
• Create memorable guest interactions by modeling service excellence and mentoring Team Members.
• Enforce all safety policies and complete incident reports when necessary.
• Ensure opening, closing, and shift procedures are executed with consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the park throughout the shift.
• Rotational Leadership Development across Sales & Service, Parties & Events, F&B & Facilities.
