Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a part-time Key Holder to engage customers, provide leadership, and support store operations. You'll develop product knowledge, uphold merchandising standards, and help drive sales while maintaining accurate POS procedures.

You will collaborate with the leadership team to improve metrics, train staff, and ensure smooth opening/closing procedures, with a strong emphasis on customer-centric service and community values.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, time management and organization skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Up to 10% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed overall expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Become an expert in our product categories; understand and communicate product knowledge to the customer.
• Maintain and achieve measurable goals, including UPT, ADT, add-ons and customer info capture rates.
• Be informed on current promotions and advertisements.
• Maintain merchandising standards and assist in floor moves, display maintenance, merchandising, sales setup, and store housekeeping.
• Assist with processing merchandise and monitoring/replenishing floor stock.
• Accurately complete all sales transactions and maintain cash/media accountability at POS registers.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop skills and improve metrics.
