Job summary

Tecovas is seeking a Part-Time Team Lead in Columbus, OH to build, coach, and develop a high-performing store team. You will support the Store Manager in staffing, succession planning, and maintaining an exceptional customer experience while balancing operations and visual standards.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance reviews, ensuring loss prevention, and driving brand-aligned service, product knowledge, and merchandising.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Retail Management experience.
• Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week (part-time).
• Exceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of hiring and developing great talent.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Supports the Store Manager in creating and maintaining a succession strategy.
• Foster a culture of strong communication and teamwork to balance operational, visual and customer priorities.
• Administers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts touch-bases with direct reports.
• Cultivates genuine customer connection and demonstrates extraordinary service as a brand ambassador.
• Delivers high-quality product services with attention to detail (branding, debossing, boot shaping, etc.).
• Upholds stock-to-sales processes, presentation standards, and product placement.
• Maintains store structure, floor plan, fixture usage and loss prevention procedures.
