Job summary

Tecovas is seeking a talented Part-Time Team Lead to develop a high-performing team and manage total store operations, supporting product flow and applying merchant and customer service skills to curate a compelling in-store experience.

Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, maintaining strong communication, delivering premium service, and upholding visual and operational standards across stock, floor plans, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Retail Management experience.
• Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week.
• Exceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of hiring and developing great talent.
• Experienced in coaching, counseling & conflict resolution.
• Independent, proactive, results‑driven work ethic.
• Utmost character, honesty, and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Assists in creating and maintaining a succession strategy.
• Fosters a culture of strong communication and teamwork across operational, visual and customer priorities.
• Administers performance appraisals, sets goals and conducts touch‑bases with direct reports.
• Cultivates an environment of genuine customer connection and brand ambassador activity.
• Delivers high‑quality product services with attention to branding, debossing, boot stretching, brim shaping and boot shines.
• Upholds stock‑to‑sales processes, presentation standards, and manages product placement.
• Maintains store structure, floor plan and fixture usage.
• Upholds and ensures compliance with shipments, transfers and restock standards.
• Adheres to Loss Prevention procedures.
• Sets clear objectives to drive a consistent store experience.
