Job summary

Five Below is seeking a proactive Manager on Duty to supervise daily store operations and lead the crew in delivering WOW customer service. You will train team members, oversee cash handling, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You’ll manage opening and closing, coordinate stockroom organization, and partner with store leadership to drive sales while controlling expenses. The role requires mobility across the floor, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew are WOWing the Customer through personal contact and trains on the B.E.S.T. experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure top service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock for quick placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff management.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, and set alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Perform general store maintenance and housekeeping.
