Job summary

Five Below Inc. is seeking an energetic Store Manager on Duty to guide daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise crew, ensure a WOW customer experience at checkout, and help maintain stock accuracy and cleanliness across the store.

You will train associates on best customer service practices, manage opening/closing duties, and partner with leadership to optimize merchandising and staffing. A background in retail management and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wowed customers through personal contact.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and stocking for fast floor replenishment.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff issues.
• Open/close the store as needed, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, prepare daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates, policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staffing.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and recovery strategies.
• Perform store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
