Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Manager on Duty to oversee daily store operations, supervise associates, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will occasionally open or close the store, train teammates on policies and product knowledge, drive sales through merchandising, and maintain stockroom organization. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check-out experience.
• Oversee daily activities of all store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, organizing of new stock for rapid placement on the floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed and manage store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store occasionally, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for smooth daily operation.
