Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader in Maryland to manage the store operations on duty, acting as the Person in Charge in the absence of a higher-level manager. You will support management in customer service, food service execution, safety, and vendor relations to maximize sales and ensure store standards.

You will coach staff, monitor product availability, and lead by example in delivering friendly, knowledgeable service while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations as the Person in Charge when a senior leader is not present.
• Perform shift tasks including POS transactions, vendor check-in, and cash-control compliance.
• Ensure safety, security, and adherence to policies by all staff.
• Execute 24/7 food service and beverage programs with proper ordering and production planning.
• Maintain store cleanliness and appearance and manage store side tasks.
• Supervise store employees in the absence of a senior leader.
