Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader in Edgewood, MD to run store operations during their shift as the acting Person in Charge when a senior leader isn’t present. You will guide customer service, ensure product availability, execute food service programs, and maintain safety and store standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, supervisory skills, and the ability to develop team members while delivering excellent service and achieving store goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations on shift as the Person in Charge when a senior leader is not present.
• Oversee customer service, product availability, and compliance with safety and cash controls.
• Execute food & beverage programs, ensure food quality and store cleanliness.
• Supervise and support team members, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to maintain store performance and safety.
