Job summary

Royal Farms is seeking a part-time Shift Leader to manage daily store operations during on-duty periods. You will act as the Person in Charge, support management on customer service, product availability, and safety, and help drive sales and cost controls.

The role requires leadership, teamwork, and the ability to train and develop staff while maintaining high standards of service and store presentation at Royal Farms locations in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to encourage, inspire, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and coach team members.
• Oversee shift operations as PIC when a senior leader is absent.
• Perform POS transactions and ensure cash controls.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of store assets.
• Execute food service and beverage programs with quality and accuracy.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness, and report hazards promptly.
• Demonstrate accountability and complete tasks with attention to detail.
