Job summary

Minimum qualifications include a BSN within four years (or equivalent acute care experience), Montana RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current State RN License is required.
• BSN degree within 4 years or 15 years of acute care service.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/ or provides direct patient care, supporting staff in patient/family issues and safety.
• Responds to patient emergencies on the shift as charge or lead person for disasters.
• Coordinates staffing with the staffing office to match census changes.
• Communicates census, staffing and patient information to oncoming Charge Nurse for assignments.
• Supports unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping; participates in hospital committees.
