Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an RN - Shift Lead I for St James Hospital in Butte, MT. This part-time, day-shift position provides leadership and clinical expertise on the unit, coordinating resources to match census and acuity.

You will supervise patient care, respond to emergencies, adjust staffing with the staffing office, communicate with the Charge Nurse, and support productivity and timekeeping. Minimum qualifications include a BSN (or equivalent progress), Montana RN license, and BLS

Qualifications

• BSN degree or progress toward BSN within four years.
• Montana RN license current.
• BLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or provide direct patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and disasters as lead/charge.
• Adjust staffing with the staffing office per census.
• Communicate census and patient details to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Support unit productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
• Participate in hospital committees as unit representative.
• Promote Intermountain Health mission and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May float to other departments as needed.
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
