Intermountain Health, at St James Hospital in Butte, MT, seeks a part-time RN - Shift Lead I for day shifts. You will provide leadership and clinical expertise on your shift, coordinating unit resources to match census and acuity while supporting staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years acute care), Montana RN license, and BLS certification. You may float to other departments as needed and be on-call for shifts.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years (or 15 years of acute care service).
• Current State of Montana RN License and BLS Certification on hire.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or provide direct patient care and support staff on the shift.
• Respond to patient emergencies and act as charge/lead during disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing office to adjust staffing for census changes.
• Communicate census, staffing, admissions and discharges to the incoming Charge Nurse.
• Support unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
• Participate in hospital committees as unit representative as needed.
• Promote Intermountain Health mission, vision, and values and service standards.
• May float to other departments within scope; may be on-call during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
