Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or provide direct patient care and support staff.
• Respond to patient emergencies as charge or lead for disasters.
• Collaborate with staffing to adjust numbers for census changes during the shift.
• Communicate census, staffing, admissions, and discharges to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Support unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
